Jordon Riley's path to the NFL wound through four different college programs before he landed at Oregon. After two seasons with the New York Giants, he signed with the Packers in December 2025, only to see his debut season cut short by injury.

Path to the league

Riley played college football at North Carolina (2017-18), Garden City Community College (2019), Nebraska (2020-21) and finally Oregon (2022), a long journey that showcased his massive frame at 6-foot-5 and around 340 pounds. The New York Giants drafted him in the seventh round (No. 243 overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Riley appeared in 21 games with five starts for the Giants across the 2023 and 2024 seasons, recording 12 tackles, three tackles for loss and a quarterback hit as a space-eating interior run defender. The Packers signed him off New York's practice squad on December 3, 2025.

2025 season recap

In his brief stint with Green Bay, Riley played 64 defensive snaps across four games, recording two tackles. His season ended early after he suffered an Achilles injury in the Packers' loss to Baltimore.
