Warren Brinson arrived in Green Bay as a sixth-round pick after winning back-to-back national titles as part of Georgia's dominant defensive front. At 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds, he offers the Packers depth and physicality in the middle of their defense.

Path to the league

Brinson played five seasons at Georgia from 2020 to 2024, appearing in 59 games while working his way into a part-time starting role along a deep Bulldogs defensive line. The Packers selected him in the sixth round, 198th overall, of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Brinson won CFP national championships with Georgia following both the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Over his college career he recorded 71 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and six sacks, with his most productive season coming in 2024 when he posted 26 tackles, including six for loss, and two sacks.

2025 season recap

Brinson made Green Bay's 53-man roster as a rookie and appeared in 11 regular-season games, making one start, finishing with 13 tackles and half a sack as part of the Packers' defensive tackle rotation. He also played in the team's lone playoff game, adding one more tackle.
