An Iowa State program-record starter who took the long way to Washington through the CFL and two other practice squads.
Julian Good-Jones started nearly every game of his Iowa State career before going undrafted in 2020, then spent time in the Canadian Football League before finding his footing back in the NFL. He has been part of the Commanders organization since late 2023, giving Washington a versatile interior lineman capable of playing guard or center.
Path to the league
Good-Jones started all 49 games he appeared in at Iowa State, a program record, and earned first-team All-Big 12 honors in 2019. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2020, then spent time with the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL before returning to the NFL.
