Nick Allegretti spent five seasons in Kansas City as a versatile interior lineman before signing with Washington in 2024. Now entering his eighth NFL season, he has become a steady presence up front for the Commanders, capable of playing guard or center.
Path to the league
Allegretti started the final 36 games of his Illinois career after redshirting as a freshman and earned the 2019 Big Ten Medal of Honor. The Kansas City Chiefs drafted him in the seventh round (216th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Allegretti won three Super Bowls with the Chiefs (LIV, LVII, LVIII), stepping into the Super Bowl LVIII lineup after Joe Thuney's injury and playing through a torn UCL.
