Justin Shorter arrived in the league as a fifth-round pick after a productive run at Florida following his transfer from Penn State. His NFL career has been defined more by size and potential than production so far, and he has spent much of it working through injuries.
Path to the league
Shorter began his college career at Penn State before transferring to Florida in 2020, where he caught 95 passes for 1,395 yards and eight touchdowns over three seasons as a big, physical target. The Buffalo Bills selected him in the fifth round (150th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft.
