Luke Haggard is a Tampa Bay offensive lineman whose road to the NFL ran through Santa Rosa Junior College and Indiana before years of practice-squad work with the Buccaneers finally paid off. Undrafted in 2023, he became the first Sonoma County player to appear in an NFL game since 2017 when he debuted in 2025.
Path to the league
Haggard grew up in Petaluma, California, and was initially reluctant to keep playing football before a coach convinced him to join the team at Santa Rosa Junior College, where he earned all-conference honors at tackle. He transferred to Indiana in 2020 and became the Hoosiers' starting left tackle, earning the Chris Dal Sasso Award as the team's best lineman in 2021. He went undrafted in 2023 and signed with Tampa Bay.
