A national champion at Michigan who fought back from a waiver-wire scare to land a starting job in Dallas.
Trevor Keegan built his reputation as a mauling interior blocker on one of the best offensive lines in college football history, then had to claw his way back into the league after Philadelphia let him go. Now with the Cowboys, the 6-foot-5, 306-pound guard is looking to prove his rookie-year flashes were the start of something, not a fluke.
Path to the league
Keegan started for three years on Michigan's offensive line as the Wolverines won three straight Big Ten titles and the 2023 national championship. He earned first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2022 and a share of the Joe Moore Award for the nation's best offensive line, then went in the fifth round of the 2024 draft, 172nd overall, to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Career highlights
Keegan was on Philadelphia's roster as a rookie when the Eagles capped the 2024 season by routing Kansas City 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX. He couldn't hold down a permanent starting job behind the Eagles' veteran interior, and Philadelphia waived him in late August 2025, ending his run with a championship on his resume but no long-term role.
2025 season recap
Dallas claimed Keegan off waivers the day after Philadelphia cut him and got him into two games before a neck injury landed him on injured reserve on October 21, 2025, cutting his first season with the Cowboys short. He's healthy again and working to reestablish himself in Dallas's offensive line room.
