Nikko Remigio went from undrafted free agent to Super Bowl champion, becoming a steady return specialist for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Nikko Remigio's college career spanned California and Fresno State before he signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He has since made himself a fixture in Kansas City's return game, weathering roster moves and injuries to remain part of the franchise's championship run.

Path to the league

Remigio played four seasons at California from 2018 to 2021, totaling 97 receptions for 903 yards and 13 touchdowns while also contributing as a kick returner. He transferred to Fresno State as a graduate for 2022, posting a career-best 74 catches for 852 yards and six touchdowns and earning second-team All-Mountain West honors as both a receiver and punt returner.

Career highlights

Remigio signed with Kansas City as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and, despite an injured reserve stint, was part of the roster when the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII, making him a Super Bowl champion in his rookie season.
