Path to the league

Jones spent four seasons at USC before transferring to Tennessee in 2020. In 2021 he caught 62 passes for 807 yards and seven touchdowns and was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Year as a returner. The Bears drafted him in the third round in 2022, and his speed kept him in the league primarily as a return specialist and change-of-pace option.

2025 season

Jones signed with the Saints in March 2025 as a player they planned to use at running back, then joined the Seahawks' practice squad on October 29, 2025. He appeared in three regular-season games for Seattle, carrying four times for 32 yards and serving as a return man. In Super Bowl LX, he played on special teams and downed two punts, including a key one in the fourth quarter, as the Seahawks beat New England 29-13.
