AI Predicts Every Week 9 Game of the 2026 NFL Season

After an 11-of-14 Week 8, the model picks all 15 Week 9 games, from Jaguars-Ravens on Thursday through Bengals-Falcons in Madrid to Bills-Vikings on Monday night, with four High picks.

Touchdown Week's prediction model went 11 of 14 in Week 8, its best week of the season, and stands at 77 of 121 in the regular season. The High tier went 3 of 4, missing only Arizona's overtime comeback at Dallas, the Medium tier went 3 of 3 and the Low tier 5 of 7. Detroit's 19-15 win over Minnesota landed on the exact projected margin. Week 9 has 15 games, including Cincinnati and Atlanta at Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, with Pittsburgh and Tennessee on byes. Every pick is locked before kickoff and changed only for pregame injury or quarterback news.

The four High picks

Jacksonville at Baltimore on Thursday at 74 percent is the strongest: the Ravens have scored 33 points in three straight losses, Lamar Jackson is headed to injured reserve with a thumb injury, and their only fully healthy quarterback was signed to the practice squad Monday. Kansas City over the Jets is 72 percent, Detroit at Miami 70 and San Francisco over Las Vegas, coming off a bye and 4-0 at home, 68. The High tier is 22 of 33 for the season, the Medium tier 31 of 44.

Quarterback situations shaping the picks

Baltimore's starter is undecided between Joe Fagnano, who has an ankle injury, and Austin Reed. Gardner Minshew makes his first start for Arizona at Seattle after replacing Jacoby Brissett. Kyler Murray's sore hamstring makes Monday's Bills-Vikings game a 54 percent lean to Buffalo; with Murray confirmed healthy, the model would move toward Minnesota. Philadelphia stays with Tanner McKee through a six-game losing streak.

The closest games

Cleveland at New Orleans is 52 percent, the narrowest pick of the week: the Browns are 4-0 in games decided by three points or fewer, and the Saints are 0-3 at home but rested. Green Bay at New England and Buffalo at Minnesota are 54 percent, and Denver at Carolina 55.

How the picks get graded

Every prediction is published before kickoff and edited only for pregame injury or quarterback news, never afterward. Once a game is final it is graded on the winner and on how far the projected margin missed, and ties count as misses. The running record by confidence level lives on the predictions hub and in the Touchdown Week app, and each game page shows the pregame pick next to the final score.
