Week 4 Injuries: Ja'Marr Chase Concussed, Saquon Barkley Hurts Hamstring, Edgerrin Cooper Carted Off

Chase was dragged down by his face mask in Cincinnati, Barkley pulled up on a first-quarter run in Philadelphia, and Cooper went down without contact with an Achilles injury in Tampa. D.J. Moore re-injured his shoulder in Buffalo's first loss.

Sunday's early Week 4 games cost several teams key players. Cincinnati receiver Ja'Marr Chase has a concussion, Philadelphia running back Saquon Barkley left with a hamstring injury, and Green Bay linebacker Edgerrin Cooper was carted off with an Achilles injury. None of the teams has given a timeline yet.

What happened to Chase and Barkley?

Chase was pulled down by his face mask by Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones after a second-quarter catch, drawing a penalty, and took another hit as he fell. He stayed down for several seconds and did not return to the 22-17 loss; he had three catches for 27 yards. Barkley pulled up at the end of a 6-yard run in the first quarter of the Eagles' 24-20 loss to the Rams and was ruled out. Philadelphia was also without right tackle Lane Johnson, a late scratch for personal reasons, with rookie Markel Bell starting in his place.

How bad is Cooper's injury?

The Packers have not said. Cooper went down without contact on a third-quarter blitz, reached for his lower left leg and could not put weight on it. He had intercepted a pass earlier in the 17-14 win at Tampa Bay and leads Green Bay with six tackles for loss. His replacement, Isaiah McDuffie, left five plays later with an eye injury.

Who else?

Bills receiver D.J. Moore left in the second quarter of a 29-26 loss to New England after hurting the same shoulder he injured in Week 2, and spiked his helmet on the sideline before going into the medical tent. In Pittsburgh, defensive tackle Derrick Harmon is expected to miss a few weeks with a foot injury from Thursday night's game, and cornerback Jamel Dean could miss a couple of weeks with an ankle injury.
