Path to the league

Green played four seasons at Oklahoma State from 2016 to 2019, earning two-time second-team All-Big 12 honors and a Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist nod as a senior. Despite that resume, he went unselected in the 2020 NFL Draft, the first time since 2008 that at least one Oklahoma State player went undrafted. He signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent shortly after.

Career highlights

Green spent four seasons with the Browns from 2020 to 2023, recording his first career interception in Week 17 of the 2021 season against Pittsburgh. He has since played for the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams, appearing in 39 games over his career while building a reputation as a versatile depth defensive back and special teams contributor.

2025 season recap

Green signed with the Rams' practice squad in November 2024 before inking a reserve/futures contract in January 2025. Miami signed him off the Rams' practice squad in November 2025, and he re-signed with the Dolphins in March 2026. Across his career he has recorded 41 tackles, two interceptions, seven pass deflections and two fumble recoveries.
