Brevyn Spann-Ford went undrafted out of Minnesota in 2024 but made the Cowboys' roster on the strength of his blocking, a skill that became his calling card as one of the best run-blocking tight ends to come out of the Big Ten. Standing 6-foot-6, he has carved out a real role in Dallas's offense.

Path to the league

Spann-Ford played six seasons at Minnesota, catching 95 passes for 1,061 yards and 7 touchdowns across 60 games while building a reputation as one of the country's better blocking tight ends. He went unselected in the 2024 draft and signed with Dallas as an undrafted free agent after a standout week at the Senior Bowl.

Career highlights

Spann-Ford made the Cowboys' 53-man roster out of his first training camp and has stuck on the active roster since, valued primarily for his in-line blocking on a Dallas offense that often runs behind him and the attached tackle.
