Three-team TD reception leader, the first player ever to top the NFL in receiving touchdowns with three different franchises.
Davante Adams landed in Los Angeles in March 2025 after the Jets released him. The Rams gave him a two-year deal, and Adams immediately made history by leading the NFL in receiving touchdowns with his third different team (12 TDs in 2025), joining the Packers (2020) and Raiders (2022). He now owns one of the most unusual records in receiver history.
Path to the league
Fresno State product taken 53rd overall by Green Bay in 2014. Spent eight seasons catching passes from Aaron Rodgers, the most prolific QB-WR statistical pairing of the 2010s. Traded to Las Vegas in March 2022 to reunite with college teammate Derek Carr, then to the Jets in October 2024, then released.
Career highlights
Three-time first-team All-Pro. Seven-time Pro Bowler. 12,633 career receiving yards (top 20 all time). 1,017 career receptions (top 15 all time). Two-time NFL receiving TDs leader before 2025. First receiver ever to lead the NFL in receiving TDs with three different teams.
2025 season recap
60 receptions for 789 yards and 12 touchdowns. Caught five passes for 72 yards in the Rams' 34-31 Wild Card win over Carolina. Played the red-zone target role for Matthew Stafford's MVP season, which suppressed his per-game volume but maximized his touchdown rate. Adams was the most efficient receiver in football inside the 20.
What to watch in 2026
Adams turns 34 on Christmas Eve. His role in 2026 is to keep playing the red-zone specialist while Puka Nacua handles the perimeter and Cooper Kupp works the slot. The Rams open at +950 to win Super Bowl LXI. Adams is one strong year from being a serious Hall of Fame candidate on first ballot eligibility.
