Devontez Walker's college career was nearly derailed by a high-profile NCAA eligibility dispute that kept him off the field until mid-October, but his rare speed still made him one of the most explosive receiver prospects in his draft class. General manager Eric DeCosta compared him to Torrey Smith, and Walker has grown into that vertical-threat role in Baltimore.
Path to the league
Walker transferred to North Carolina and, after a widely covered NCAA eligibility battle, did not debut until October 14 of his final college season.
