Jordan Elliott began his college career at Texas before transferring to Missouri, where he earned first-team All-SEC honors. Four years starting for Cleveland and two more with San Francisco followed, and he now brings that interior presence to Tennessee.

Path to the league

Elliott played six games at Texas in 2016 before transferring to Missouri, sitting out 2017 under transfer rules. Across 2018-2019 with the Tigers he racked up 68 tackles and 5.5 sacks, earning first-team All-SEC recognition in his final season. The Cleveland Browns selected him in the third round (88th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Elliott spent four seasons in Cleveland, appearing in 65 games and developing into a full-time starter by 2022-2023, posting a career-high 36 combined tackles and two sacks in 2022. He signed with San Francisco in March 2024 and saw expanded playing time that season with 15 games and 13 starts amid injuries elsewhere on the line.

2025 season recap

Elliott started all 16 games he played for San Francisco in 2025, recording 31 combined tackles, a sack, and a pass deflection as part of the 49ers' defensive tackle rotation. In March 2026 he signed a two-year, $8 million deal with Tennessee, reuniting with head coach Robert Saleh, San Francisco's defensive coordinator during Elliott's 2025 season.
