Tucker Large signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent after a college career that spanned two programs and two levels of competition. The Sioux Falls, South Dakota native won a pair of FCS national titles at South Dakota State before following head coach Jimmy Rogers to Washington State for a final FBS season in 2025.

Path to the league

Large spent his first four college seasons at South Dakota State, where he was part of two FCS national championship teams and earned FCS All-American honors as a redshirt junior in 2024. He transferred to Washington State for the 2025 season and went unselected in the 2026 NFL Draft before signing with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent.

Career highlights

As a defensive back at South Dakota State, Large helped anchor back-to-back FCS national championship squads and was recognized as an FCS All-American in 2024. His move to Washington State gave him his first extended run of FBS competition.

2025 season recap

Large finished his lone season with Washington State with 71 solo tackles and six passes defended, helping the Cougars to a 7-6 finish that included the program's first bowl win since 2018. An injury suffered in that Famous Idaho Potato Bowl win over Utah State kept him out of Washington State's pro day.
