Week 5: Ravens Visit Falcons on Sunday Night With Lamar Jackson's Ankle Unresolved
The Baltimore Ravens visit the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night, October 11. Baltimore is 3-1 after a 24-18 win over Tennessee in which Lamar Jackson threw for 222 yards in the first half, then missed the second half with an ankle injury and left in a walking boot; Jesse Minter said Monday he does not know whether Jackson plays, and the Ravens are also without both centers and Trey Hendrickson. Atlanta is 2-2 after a 45-24 win at New Orleans on Monday night, its second straight game of 35 or more since Michael Penix Jr. took over.
Jackson or Tyler Huntley
Huntley is 5-6 as a Baltimore fill-in; the Ravens did not score after Jackson left Sunday.
Atlanta with Penix
Eighty points in two games after 16 in the first two.
Baltimore's line
A rookie guard at center and Ronnie Stanley's toe.
AI Prediction
Ravens
Falcons Atlanta's offense is the hottest in the league
Eighty points in two games, with Bijan Robinson and Drake London both producing.
Baltimore's quarterback is uncertain
With Jackson the Ravens would be favored; without him, Atlanta's home field tips it.
The Ravens' defense is still better
Ninety-six points allowed includes 31 in Rio and 24 to the Saints; it can hold Atlanta under 30.
A Low-confidence home lean that assumes Jackson is limited or out. A confirmed healthy Jackson would flip this before kickoff.
